“This year has been particularly busy as I have been assisting Ralph Lewis on more leadership courses.
“We already work together with mentoring projects in Uganda, organised by Pepal and Baylor Uganda on the Caring Together Project which is providing leadership training to staff working in health clinics to help to improve performance and delivery. It was a joy to celebrate my tenth visit there as a mentor last summer and I am looking forward to my next visit in November.
“I use a mixture of practical and creative techniques to encourage thought and creativity. These techniques are especially useful when resolving conflict management issues. However, role playing usually became less of a conflict and more of a humourous issue! But we all learned through fun.
“The beginning of November sees both of us in London at the Servant Leadership Conference, It is being held at Friends Hous,e Euston Road, London on November 1 and 2. www.greenleaf.org.uk/
